How can I book a tattoo?

When will I hear back?

Generally within two weeks.

Sometimes older requests are sifted through to fill cracks in the schedule, so an unanswered email is not always a no.

What’s the deposit policy?

There is a $200 deposit to get on the schedule. If a tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be deducted from the cost of the final session.

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. 

Deposits are forfeited if clients no call, no show, arrive 15 minutes late sans communication, cancel without 72 hours notice, reschedule more than twice, or let more than one year pass without an attempt to reschedule a cancelled appointment.

What form of payment is accepted?

Cash baby. Venmo is used only for deposits.

When will I see the design?

Custom designs are drawn the night before or morning of the appointment. You will see the drawing when you arrive at the shop. Small adjustments can be made as necessary. Larger changes may require a reschedule. Please be clear and concise with your request.

How far out do you book?

2-4 months in advance.

Cover-ups?

My tattoo style doesn’t always lend itself well to cover-ups because my work generally relies heavily on negative space. However, if you are comfortable going darker and doing something a little different, then please inquire! I know what it’s like to have a tattoo you don’t love and I would be happy to help.

If a cover-up is not possible, you might consider a blast over. This is a tattoo on top of but not hiding the tattoo underneath.

It may be an option to refresh an existing tattoo that needs love, just ask nice.

How should I prepare to be tattooed?

Eat a meal with protein beforehand. Feel free to bring snacks, a book or whatever helps you feel comfortable. Exfoliate and shave if you want to go the extra mile (no worries if you forget). Avoid alcohol and other blood thinning substances 24 hours prior.

Can I use numbing cream?

No. Numbing cream increases the risk of a less perfect heal. Period. You will appreciate your tattoo more if you earn it, promise.

It is never an issue to stop after the line work and finish at a later date.

Can I bring a guest?

Guests are welcome to pop in briefly but please don’t plan to have a guest for the duration of the tattoo.
